The Architectural League is hiring! We are seeking interns to join the digital editorial and program teams and a full-time Executive and Development Assistant — three excellent opportunities to work at one of the nation’s premier forums for the presentation of new work and ideas in architecture, urbanism, and design as part of an enthusiastic, hardworking, and collegial team. INTERNSHIPS

Urban Omnibus/Digital Project Assistant
Interns will work closely with the editors of Urban Omnibus and ArchLeague.org and the League’s Digital Editorial Director to prepare material for publication, research potential stories, archive content, coordinate outreach, and organize Omnibus events. They will perform a wide variety of tasks, including general support for the League’s programming and activities.

We ask that interns work a minimum of three days per week for a minimum of three months. Interns will receive a stipend and unlimited monthly Metro Card during their internship. The League will support internships for academic credit. Program Assistant
Interns will gain experience in programming, communications, and development by working closely with the Program Director to organize and execute competitions, juries, and events; manage archival materials; and conduct research to support the League’s programs. In addition to providing support for daily operations, interns will also have the opportunity to attend meetings, reviews, and juries with leading members of the design community. The program assistant intern is required to attend League events.

STAFF POSITIONS

Executive and Development Assistant
The League is seeking a highly intelligent, self-motivated, well-organized, energetic Executive and Development Assistant with a good sense of humor to work on a wide variety of tasks in a friendly and fast-paced office. This individual, who must have extremely strong interpersonal, writing, and computer skills, will deal extensively with the Leagueʼs membership, board, and supporters. The assistant reports to the Development and Communications Director and Executive Director and is responsible for supporting the organizationʼs fundraising efforts and constituency services. The assistant also supports the work of the Executive Director and acts as Board liaison.
