Urban Omnibus is seeking a Project Assistant beginning in September 2017! We are looking for a sharp, collaborative self-starter to join our tight-knit editorial family. You will work closely with Omnibus editors on all aspects of the publication, become conversant in contemporary concerns of architecture and urbanism, and gain significant experience in the production of a weekly online non-profit magazine.
Responsibilities will include:
- Editorial support, including image research, fact-checking, proofreading, and layout
- Research and development of new features, special series, and editorial projects
- General support for the programs of the Architectural League
You should have strong writing and editorial skills, and a demonstrable interest in architecture, urbanism, design, and the built environment. Experience in graphic design, mapping, or audio/video production are a plus.
Interns will receive a stipend of $15 an hour and unlimited monthly MetroCards for the duration of the internship. The League will also support internships for academic credit.
