Ada Tolla

Ada Tolla is a founding partner of LOT-EK (1993), an experimental and radically sustainable design practice focused on upcycling manufactured objects and systems not originally intended for architectural use. Born in southern Italy, she studied Architecture at the Universita’ di Napoli, and completed post-graduate studies at Columbia GSAPP. Besides her architecture practice, she teaches at Columbia GSAPP and lectures at cultural institutions globally. O+O, Objects + Operations, LOT-EK’s most recent monograph, was published by The Monacelli Press in 2017.
