Judy Park Lee

Judy Park Lee is a researcher and service designer with a focus on building more equitable public services, spaces, and institutions. Based in New York City, she is the design research director at the Public Policy Lab and an instructor at Parsons School of Design. She is endlessly fascinated by bureaucracy and its aesthetic configurations. Her work includes the Cabinet of Bureaucratic Wonders, an archive of mundane, yet wondrous bureaucratic objects that was exhibited through a series of immersive participatory installations in New York City and Brasília. Judy holds an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and a B.A. in Sociology from Harvard University.
